Activision has confirmed that the next Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 downloadable content packs will launch later today exclusive to Xbox 360 touting Call of Duty Elite subscribers.

The latest in a long line of MW3 DLC offerings that have followed Modern Warfare 3’s November 2011 release, the game’s Executive Producer,
Infinity Ward’s Mark Rubin, recently confirmed the imminent release plans via his official Twitter feed.

Whilst the developer originally failed to confirm the full range of content that will be made available to Elite subscribers in the latest downloadable offering, Infinity Ward has now revealed that Elite subscribers will be able to wrap their gamepads around one new Spec Ops mission entitled 'Arctic Recon', and three new Faceoff maps dubbed Vortex, U-Turn, and Intersection.

Continuing Activision’s run of periods of exclusivity for Xbox 360 gamers, the company responsible for the world’s largest annual entertainment release has yet to confirm when the new Modern Warfare 3 DLC will be made available to PS3 and PC gamers.
